In the heart of the Dolomites, a historic 1950s architecture has been brought back to life through a renovation project that seamlessly blends tradition and innovation. DMC Legno, specializing in timber carpentry, played a key role in transforming this home, contributing to the construction of a light and sustainable elevation. The intervention preserved the soul of the original building, respecting its traditional construction characteristics and enhancing them through the use of high-performance natural materials. The result is a home perfectly integrated into the landscape, offering high living comfort and excellent energy efficiency.
The project was developed with great attention to sustainability, adopting cutting-edge construction solutions to ensure a healthy, welcoming, and thermally efficient environment. The intervention included the construction of a roof and walls in wood fiber, natural insulating materials that provide excellent climatic comfort. Additionally, the installation of triple-glazed larch windows optimized thermal and acoustic insulation, enhancing indoor well-being throughout the year.
